Airtel vdsl profile upgrade 40mbps issue.

My neighbour getting 40mbps on his new airtel vdsl connection from same dp but for me on their system only 16 mbps feasible. my line states shows that 40 mbps can be easily possible.
just called airtel 121 and already tweeted airtel but getting no proper response. can anybody suggest me. what should i do now?

Ask them to repunch the wire in the DP and check the speed. Also if installed many years back better to change all the cables, terminal box and splitter.

Same thing happened with me,
After so many calls to local backend team, requesting threatening my profile was updated,
Customer care guys cannot do anything in this case, only local guys can do,
You call the guy who came for KYC and start to ask for 40 Mbps,
After some 10 days i got a option to upgrade speed in airtel thanks app,

Email them and give them the landline/dsl number of your neighbour.

Call CC and tell them you are getting slow speeds and lie something of that sorts. When someone visits, ask him to contact the NOC team to get your profile upgraded. It will be done there and then.

update* profile updated 40mbps.
i have sent email to airtel nodal team but getting no response. than to appellate body. but they denied to upgrade reason ( we only have 16mbps... bla bla..)

after 2-3 days my profile upgraded to 40mbps and plan changed 16 to 40mbps automatically.😀
on 16mbps it was 19-20mbps now 45-50mbps.
