Hello,
I just bought 40 Mbps Plan/UL at home for Fps Gaming/work Purpose, But I just came to know that While pinging to EU servers, it's giving Requested Timed Out (100% Packet Loss) & Connection to Any Servers from Europe , Specially Germany is Not Working , Games i play Battlefield , PUBG. Is it ISP issue?

Also In Other Servers like SG, RU, HG I'm Getting very Low Hit Registration Issues, It's like even after Firing Bullets to Enemies, they don't Take any damages

... any Suggestions to follow ?

I'm on an ISP that uses Airtel backbone
I can't ping 94.250.208.86 even with a VPN so I doubt that timeout issue is an airtel problem

pinging 94.250.208.1 without vpn:

Kinda insane ping for a EU Server. Traceroute is going to CoreSite - Any2 California in 6th Hop instead of going to Europe directly

Same IP with IPVanish VPN (TATA Backbone):

Dunno if its ISP specific or if something is wrong with Airtel

yeah It looks like Issue from Airtel because in My Company's network, I cannot ping any EU IPs, aswell Tracert stops at Airtel's Routing Gateway..

Battlefield's EU servers mostly hosted by G-portal.com, its located in Germany, I tried Tracert and found that connection is getting refused at their end .. what's possible solution for it?

My setup : Fiber net, 40 Mbps, DHCP IP but assigned 192.168.1.10 ip to my MAC address so it will be static always , forwarded required ports in router and with Smart port Forwarding, Only UDP 3659 Port is i'm unable to Open, even after listing it shows Closed

I have observed the following latency for internet customers while working with ISP.
  1. Within India, a point to point ping should be ~100ms
  2. India to Europe around 200ms
  3. India to US East Cost ~300ms and West Cost ~350ms
The latency generally depends on how your ISP is peering with other ISP. Let's say to reach the US West coast your ISP is using peering from Mumbai, India to London to NY East Coast and the to West Cost.
Instead, they can use Chennai, India to Singapore to US West Cost.
To minimize the latency you need to coordinate with your ISP to route your IPs(public IPs) via correct peering and deny them from long route. You may get the desired effect.

@albert055 Ping is not the issue, getting 130-140 Ping in other Europe and Germany Based servers, just Servers hosted by G-portal and ip with 94.250.208.xx is not accessible ... what's the cause?

You can't ping 94.250.208.1? Also try 185.137.121.133, this one is also hosted by G-Portal.

I can ping these servers on my isp with Airtel backbone , its just that the ping is too high.

Pinging 185.137.121.133 with 32 bytes of data:

Pinging 94.250.208.1 gives me Positive results while pinging 185.137.121.133 giving Request timed out

Seems like V-Fiber specific issue rather than Airtel backbone route. Try doing traceroute to 185.137.121.133 and 94.250.208.1

tracert of 94.250.208.1 seems to be okay, other IP, i cannot ping

i think there may be something wrong with ociris. its an old post but some people are having their traffic being directed through US back to Europe.
The traffic is hitting a firewall on ociris side at 8th hop

You should complain to g-portal about this

Not GPortal but something related:

Update : There is Confirmed Issue from Ociris, They have "Geo Location Block" on Airtel, which they resolved recently (Thanks to me 😈).
now i could connect to gaming servers but there is new problem, which i'm going to open in another thread.

Problem, Ping to other Germany hosted server is 120 -140, Ping to G-portal/Ociris Hosted Servers : 250-300 and 20-40% Packet Loss !
