True. GPON (and EPON) can cover up to 20km technically. Direct quote from What’s The Difference Between EPON And GPON Optical Fiber Networks?

While an active optical network (AON) can cover a range to about 100 km (62 miles), a PON is typically limited to fiber cable runs of up to 20 km (12 miles).

Airtel's site and app are telling different things.

999 Plan - 300GB
1099 Plan - 300GB but with Netflix, Prime, Zee5, Shaw Academy, Wynk, XStream, Books, VIP

1499 Plan - 500GB
1599 Plan - 500GB but with Netflix, Prime, Zee5, Shaw Academy, Wynk, XStream, Books, VIP

and 1999 UL plan is still active even though the site wants you to think it is not.

While the site says 999 and 1499 plan will give me all the required subscriptions.

What is going on, Airtel?

Also, Data rollover is still mentioned on their T&C page. Will have to wait for a month to be sure if data rollover is active or not.

So I blew up all my data + bonus data yesterday. Came back to this site and I see this thread about prices going higher. Let's see what happens I'll call CC later today and see if they can give me more data on my 599 plan. BTW does anyone still have 599 plan? They gave me 40Gb per month plus bonus data. Bonus data was enough so I never really cared for monthly cap. I want like 90 or 100Gb per month as I don't download much. Also speed never went up beyond 16Mbps. 100Mbps is bogus as they confirmed me few months back when they said they don have "coverage" for that kind of speed in Chandigarh.

I dont think vfiber can deliver 1gbps,it must be fiber right?
