Heya All!

Can someone confirm if all the ports on their Static IP connection are open. I had a talk with the backend guy for my circle and they said that they can only open port 80 and 443.
Also they couldn't provide me with SIP ID for my VoIP connection. Anyway I could get SIP for soft phone?
GPON Modem and Router - ZTE F670Lv9

Yes, all the ports are open on static ip.

Their are threads on this forum on using Airtel sip credentials using a softphone or a PBX (asterisk or freeswitch). Do a search.

Thanks for the confirmation. As for SIP thread you are talking about, I have gone through it previously and the related SIP setup guide for BSNL VoIP with a Digisol modem. Currently I am trying to configure it with MicroSIP but i couldnt get it connected.

I am posting the settings below, would appriciate it if you could confirm that am on the right path.

Creds i used -
Username : [email protected]
domain : ims.airtel.in
pass : Huawei@1
SIP server : the IP found on the router SIP protocol page
Proxy : the second IP found on the above mentioned page

Are you able to ping the sip/proxy servers from your desktop/phone? If not that is the first thing you need to figure out.
