Airtel Power 699 Broadband Plan

As far as I know(especially Chennai) , they have a standard night unlimited scheme (9 PM - 8 AM) at an additional cost of Rs.99 for 256 kbps & Rs.199 for 512 kbps respectively. So if you want to take that - it will be (699 day usage 1 GB + 199 night unlimited + 99 modem rental + 12.2% taxes) = between 1000 & 1100 rupees net

I disagree, if you checkout the similar plan in combo plans, the rental is there, so i dont think they will not have it on the top-plan plan . Also, a similar Tamil nadu top-plan ("costlier-same benefits plan") has rental. It would be really surprising if they dont have it - anyway the person interested can always check that part out
 

ohhk sry my mistake...........i din notice that the home128 and home256 plans hv rents as 600&900(and not 699,999).
 
Yes, 99 is the rental, confirmed from other pages. If you see the image (or the website for that matter) , Rs.99 rental is not mentioned anywhere in this particular page, but I don't think they will give a Rs.250 plan for 400 MB without modem rental (1st plan in page) , so same rule should apply to this 699 plan as well.

Right now i have airtel 256 kBps (9.00 p.m. - 8.00 a.m. free + 11.00 p.m. - 7.00 a.m. double bandwidth (512 kBps)My Plan - Airtel BB 256 kBps speed plus (night double so its 512 kBps)My bill is 545/- month including 12.2% tax.8.00 a.m. - 9.00 p.m. - 35 - 40 kBps (Free only 10 Hrs. Monthly)9.00 p.m. - 11.00 a.m. - 35 - 40 kBps (Unlimited download)11.00 p.m. - 7.00 a.m. - 61 - 65 kBps (Unlimited download)So Conclusion is - 1. 214.45 mB/sec.2. Unlimited download during 9.00 p.m. to 8.00 a.m.3. After 11.00 p.m. to 7.00 a.m. My connection speed is 512 kBps.4. My monthly is around 35 - 40 GB.
 
That sounds like a cool plan mate, are u getting good speeds accoring to your plans ? Wat is your data transfer limit ?
 
nah, not so cool. For the whole month u will get to download only 400 MB from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. in that plan ^
 
Lol, wat kind of a plan is that ? 400mb, these companies treat us like beggars....
 
for email checking dads and moms, its pretty decent deal. not everyone stays online 24x7.
