Received this on email yesterday.

Dear Customer,

Your brand, Airtel, has been awarded the title of “The Best Broadband Product” by India’s leading business publication ‘The Economic Times’. We dedicate this win to you, since we wouldn’t have achieved it without you.

And because our celebrations wouldn’t be complete without you, we are sending a“Data Treat” your way. Starting today, the monthly data allowance for your Airtel Broadband ID 0124********_dsl will be increased by 50 GB at no extra cost, so that you can enjoy India’s best broadband service even more.

With the summer holidays here, your family can beat the heat & watch all online content to your hearts’ content at home. A wide array of latest titles is available on Airtel Movies. Airtel Movies comes absolutely free for Airtel Broadband customers. To know more, click here.

To check your updated data balance, download My Airtel App and click on Broadband account -> Data balance.

After making landline calls absolutely free last year, this is our next big step in the journey to provide the best value to our customers. I would like to take this opportunity to reiterate our commitment to provide the best-in-class services to you, always.

Thanking you for your support and continued trust in us over time.

Warm Regards,

Hemanth Guruswamy

They are just disguising the higher data limits already on offer as a "Data Treat" for existing customers who haven't till now noticed the newer data limits on their existing plan. It takes airtel over a month to increase the limits for the existing customers and that too use clever marketing to make it sound as though they are doing some "special"
