Airtel not WORKING since evening - Delhi

Hey all, Airtel is not working in my locality - Ashok Vihar - North Delhi since 6 pm today - no dial tone; broadband link is there but no connectivity; when someone dials my airtel no., he gets to hear a long endless high pitch beep. tired calling cust. care (from my mobile/other MTNLlandline) - but as soon as i select option to speak to cc - the call gets dis-connected..... Something really grave going out here... seems a major server prob or something!!! Anybody else in Delhi or NCR region facing this???

no dial tone means u r telephone line is dead ... So i don't think ur net will work till its fixed... btw airtel was not working today around 10am to 2 pm at my side also (Rohini, New Delhi)... but since 2pm its working fine...

This happened to me too on friday around 4 P.M., connection came back up on saturday around 1 P.M. .

now that is a long downtime. the max i have faced is 2 hours at one stretch...if that happens at my place. i would have to think keeping two connections at my place 🙁
