Airtel Network in Mumbai - DOWN

I've been facing problems with Airtel since 3 days, both voice and data. Sometimes the network goes off completely. I'm not sure whether it is a localized problem of Powai. The network was fine till last week. A lot of people are frustrated in my office because of this.Is anybody else facing problem in Mumbai?
 
Even I face that... They also conveniently reduced 15 rupees for some podcast... gave a piece of mind in 160 characters on twitter and they refunded back
 
I understand that the tower on my office building is not functioning properly since this Monday. Hence, no signal inside the office. The matter was taken up at corporate level. The response from Airtel: Go out and make calls!
 
Just wanted to confirm if Airtel network is DOWN or not?

Thing to note is today I have applied for migration from Postpaid to prepaid.

But now my network is down from more than an hour.

Manual search shows "Airtel" network in list.

But number of bars on mobile is ZERO and trying to connect says "could not connect"

It does not connect using OLD POSTPAID SIM as well as NEW PREPAID SIM.

So just wanted to confirm if network is not down by chance / coincidence.
 
My Vodafone/Idea network was totally down for the last 2-3 hours. Is still down 🙁
 

Did they revolt against Government or what?!! 😀

Airtel network is up. But now I am trying to find how to activate new prepaid!

Seems fine for now. I have no idea why the ISP is labelled incorrectly, though 😛
 
Umm, I was talking about Mobile network, not internet!!

But update is that my prepaid service is now active.

I have ZERO balance and *121# gives error!! 😀

Although incoming calls are working.

They have completely removed 1 year 1.2p/s scheme and made it monthly schemes!
