Airtel HD DVR Hangs or Freeze

Hi All,
I have upgraded to Airtel HD DVR recently and facing strange issue. Sometime it gets hang & doesn't respond to remote button (Any Button) . The last option for me is to do power cycle . (Replug the device in power socket) .
I didn't find any pattern so far and can't simulate it . But it annoys me some time.
Remote is working fine as it response to TV (Universal) same time.
Gonna call CC today.
Did any one face similar issue ? What was solution ?

If its under warranty better call customer care, If not u can try downloading the software manually as an option, I have had small issues in the past with my Airtel HD STB, and everytime I try downloading the software manually and it works almost always.
 
I too face same issue occasionally. But I am using 32 GB external USB pendrive as my STB does not have inbuilt Hard drive.
Sometimes while watching recorded programme, STB will hang and video freeze. STB may restart on its own after 3-4 minutes or I have restart by power cycle. I guess it happens most often if I am watching HD recorded programmes, though it happens for SD programmes as well.
 
@ SVK bro , it looks like stb cant buffer/read data in advance so this is the outcome so , i suggest you to contact airtel , and get STB replaced and see if that helps to any extent or do a S/w Upgrade ( if any) manually in general Airtel's H/w is 2nd best in indian market after ADTV , after TS , do try to Switch or test in HD+ STB Also
