lol. i doubt speedtest is paying these guys. these companies get loads of free publicity by offering their nodes on speedtest.net instead.
last time i heard, honesty wanted to host a speedtest.net node in their datacenter but vodafone beat them to the only slot available because they were a bigger player.

That's not quite the full story - HNS used to be *the* speedtest server for Mumbai, but when Vodafone put theirs in, Ookla wanted HNS to pay a license fee for the software (it's more or less the same as the speedtest.net mini you and I host on our servers, just a bit more extravagent)... that's about it.

Also, the 2 Bharti servers are back. Maybe they'd gone over their fair-usage policy!
