hey Guys, Any reviews on this yet ? Looks like a good deal..just 199 per month..Anyways am on the 14 day trial offer..currently downloading Age of Empires 2 - 203 MB in total - speeds between 22 to 30 kbps ( i am on 256 kbps ) - thought that this would be on their internal N/W hence would be faster downloads - but its like d/ling from any other website - but still games at 199 p/m..seems a good deal

Airtel guys just added new games - just finished downloading Toca. Only if they could do something about the download - at 1 GB it's criminally long. Guess since they are not counting the game downloads in my download limit, it seems okay. :)

just got a call from airtel related to this service. for the first time in 2.5 years! maybe they realized that i don't have any productive work to do usually. but then i told the lady on the phone that i am using linux and i doubt you would have anything to offer to me. she got confused and said ok i will write down that response as the reason behind not accepting the offer.

Haha... reminds me of when they were pushing the crappy Netexpert software on customers, their "tech" guy came to my house. I was running Vista at the time (in January), that moron tells me "sir please start your windows". They really do at times stump you with those stupid questions and replies.

rotfl... nwzl abt mystery_incl18's comments on free games i dont agree on that at all. What is someone's Right is our Responsibilty. It's the developer's Right to charge us for the games which they develop! And it's our resp. to Pay for them!!!!

LMAO Good one! Should have told them you get you Gamming FIX for free anyway. :yahoo:
Well most of the games being offered are old, (i think) so should work with wine, better check out the WINE LIST lol

I saw their webpage (Airtel Experience ) it says that Game on demand is free for Turbo 1299 pack. Anyone tried this out?

I agree , as compared to the original prices for these games, 199 is nothing. Also you get a dedicated server to play online.

Hey another question is anyone here on Second Life.
Sorabh I am using this on Ubuntu man, You should def. check it out. Its nice. I like.!

Yes, it's free, and I did download NFS Underground. Didn't get much time to play, since I use Windows 7, and their games aren't compatible with this :D So had to boot into XP to play.

Positives: Games download real fast, making use of full line speed, downloads aren't charged to your account. Reasonably good collection of games, best amongst Indian ISPs. Impressively good follow up - I have got 3 calls so far, each one of them coaxing me to play more. I sometimes feel Airtel is on a mission to render the youth of this country useless.

Negatives: For me, lack of support on Windows 7, and the fact that only good scores unlock subsequent levels in the games.
