Airtel DTH realigning dish to a different satellite?

An airtel engineer arrived at my place today after calling up. Apparently something to do with the dish.He went up to the roof, and re positioned the dish to point in the direction at which my Tata Sky dish points to. So is airtel switching satellites? Should there be an improvement in the picture quality? As he set it up on the dvr, i saw the signal quality being about 80% and strength was 100%. Anyone confirm that this is being done at all places? any advantages of re positioning? 🤔

Yes, but its very old news. Airtel has migrated to new satellite (SES7) from March. Old satellite (INSAT 4CR) is still functional but will go in 2012.
