i changed dns in modem but for default gateway it says "route: SIOC[ADD|DEL]RT: Network is unreachable. "

restart the modem and then change ip for gatewaybut it wud select only that gateway which is assigned to your profile.so u may look at double checking the defalut gateway ip.🙂

Thanks.
But my default gateway changed from previous one. before it was 203.145.184.32,13
Your default Gateway is always 192.168.1.1
What you mention is the DNS.
Probably these entries were made by the Airtel technician.
Check Device Info.
Para Two : If you use more than one computer DHCP can be enabled.
In you modem facility is available to back up present settings. If you are satisfied settings are ok make a back up in HardDisk. or note the details for future use.

0228 AM Post No 52 problem SOLVED. ( time taken approx 4 hours )
I only asked him to post the details to close the thread Post No 53.
Para two : Unfortunately you were not there to solve the problem quickly,
and I regret the time I took asking for all kinds of information. Please let me know
what information , I posted is also unneeded, so that I can also delete them.

@rockyin : Only Admin and Moderator can edit a posting , and you should have
ignored the comment/s about your post. I asked you to post the details, so that at a later date you will refer your own thread easily, in case of problem.
Lucky for you I had, two modems , and switched to Beetel 220Bx to help you , and to share your anxiety, late in the night , to restore internet connection.
