Airtel Broadband: Wow What Speeds

got awesome speeds fr bout 30 mins
downloaded a lot .. then it stayed at 780 kbps . download at 89 KBps fr another hour ..
all happned today morn ...


anyone got lucky

hmmm i guess i missed that, btw i hv nvr seen "such" speeds in my life, i.e if u're telling the truth, its quite hard to belive u know, 256Mbps ....

why do u think i started a thread
the mbps speeds were not fr long .. was on torrents and started getting above 150 kbps so checked the speeds .. then downloaed from link-removed . to confirm .. def mbps speeds ..

the 80 KBps stayed fr bout an hour ..



but all this started after i restarted my modem this morning coz it got disconnected and showed some error when i tried to connect ..

(mebbe 591 or somethin like that).. so i restarted my modem and got these speeds ..

further adsl doesnt support that high speeds.

then how did i get the screenshots .i never got over 150kbps on torrents .but the speed tests showed that and the 6mb link-removed download got over in round a second ,,so dunno what happned and NO .. my ethernet card doesnt support more than 100mbps .. but i'm connected thru USB

sometimes funny things happen... once when I installed Tiny Personal Firewall, the speed tests went bonkers showing something like 10 times the speed I was actually getting....

i know once i installed that Bitcomet acceleration patch and all acceleration i got was in my BWmeter readings, they were showing inflated values. And airtel's speed test servers suck, i use http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/ , the new york server.

Even USB 2.0 can do at best 144Mbps... not to forget that ADSL can't do better than 8Mbps...
