I took the Rs 1199 broadband plan (2Mbps till 15GB, 512kbps post) last month.
I got the bill for the cycle today, when I noticed a weird Other Charges amounting to Rs 1000 added to bill amount.
Under detailed section, it is listed as Activation Charges Voice, and a certain amount of tax is added to it too.
This amount has been balanced off by the Rs 1000 broadband activation charges they collected.
What I am concerned about is , what exactly is this charge, is it even supposed to be there or what ? I dont have a phone connected, neither did I request any phone plans or anything. Is it for the first month only (as its balanced by the -1000 for activation charges), or will it recur the next month too ?
