Airtel broadband late payment charges?

I want to know how does airtel calculate late payment charges if i pay the bill after the due date? Is it x% of the bill amount or a fixed amount of rupees?

Just call CC and ask them to waive it off... Threaten disconnection if they tell no.. they will waive it off

Rajdeep - That is not the question. My question is: is the late payment charge some % of the total bill or a fixed amount?

Used to be fixed Rs 100 till last year when I had the connection. You should check your bill it is mentioned in it as "amount due after XXXX"

Rs.100 flat i think the last time i read bill.
Stopped reading bill after everything went unlimited.

@dragonball the late fee for bill amount of >Rs 300 is Rs 100 or 2% whichever is higher + GST

This is mentioned on the last page of the broadband bill.

right. they show no late payments if my bill is under 300. was wondering about that.

@Sushubh there may be a catch for bills <Rs 300. Paying up late is the customer's fault in most cases. But IMO it's best to pay on time instead of grumbling about late fee. Seriously!

Yeah. I prepay for a few months in advance so end up with small bills of 30 to 50 bucks. Show no late fees.
