why would you need that much speed for ? running server or something?I think its high time airtel improve their latencies of connectivity. Google has massive 120-150ms ping.

Yeah ... I get 246ms!

Yeah! They are breaking here too... after 5 pings or so it says request times out.

this is bad... i dont know if the call center guy would even note it down as a complaintthey were pretty bad at night time. somewhat better now. pretty sad.

google.com is really high for me too, no timeouts though.Ping statistics for 64.233.187.99: Packets: Sent = 36, Received = 36, Lost = 0 (0% loss),Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds: Minimum = 356ms, Maximum = 489ms, Average = 460msWhereas google.co.in is much better.Ping statistics for 72.14.235.104: Packets: Sent = 46, Received = 46, Lost = 0 (0% loss),Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds: Minimum = 141ms, Maximum = 143ms, Average = 141ms

I called 121, and they asked me for my Airtel Telephone Identification No.? Whats that? Also, what all details will they ask when I am changing the plan?

I just got off the phone after calling CC, the lady asked only for my Phone number and said it will be activated by 3 days. Hopefulle this works out good for me.

I called CC on Thursday, they said it will be activated in 3 days. But it's still not activated, should I call them again?

I don't want to sound rude, but what kind of question is that? What are your other options? Keep paying for service you don't get?

What I mean is that does it normally take this long for the activation. If so, I will wait. Otherwise, I would call now. Get it?

airtel took 2 days to activate 1999 plan for me. the sad thing is that the connectivity still sucks and i am going to move back unless they can fix the glitch for me.
