Subject: Refund - CEF - TK0051100 - 3619 - beggin for the refund of application money for broadband

Dear Broad band service provider,

It is very disheartening to write this email, atleast I did not expect Airtel
to be like one such company who doesnżt believe in customer centricity. My
account number is 16597321.

I was every eager to take airtel broadband connection, after hearing the word
of mouth from a very satisfied customer Cybernet, located at 1, Prince
Anwarshah Road, Kolkata 700033, and I decided to take the connection of Airtel
through their known representative, Mr. Rudra Pratim Majhi, Mob ż 9874955437,
Code ż SRDS2-12058, whose activation manager was Mr. Chiranjit Saha.

I called Mr. Rudra to visit my place and filled in the forms on 11th June 2011,
form number was 3619, CEF no ż TKO-051100, for a broadband connection of
ACC-3GB, with bandwith 1MBPS, also signed a form for beetel mordem, paying a
cheque of Rs 500/- which he insisted to pay cash, but I felt to issue cheque
for the same ( Cheque number 46, Kotak Mahindra Bank). The enquiry for the
connection was supposedly to happen in 3 days, which did not happen. Even it
didnżt happen in next 15 days, One fine morning, to enquire about the progress
of the Broadband connection, I was told by Mr. Rudra Pratim Majhi that he has
left Airtel and he has joined reliance, so he is not the right person to talk
to me anymore, and I have to wait for about 15 more days for getting any
updates for the connection. Which I did, and after 15 days, I called him up
again, he suggested to visit Katjunagar office, just behind South city, when I
visited, I was asked 50 questions, from where I came, how I came to know about
the place, whom to meet, and etc. They treated me really bad, made me wait
outside the gate, even no one bothered to speak to me. Their attitude was no
only arrogant but also they were rude to me.

On second week of August, I received a bill which states that My payment has
been realized by Airtel, when I took a breath of relief (Bill number:-
543322217 Bill dated:- 18 Aug 2011). But I when I tried to reach the officers
or gentlemen for refund, I again find it really hard to make them listen to my
plea, It seems like no one is bothered about the customers. They use high
pitched sounds, disconnects the call, even nodal officer (some one named ghosh)
was also not very good to talk to.

I am begging for the refund of the money mentioned above.

Thanks in advance.

Mahib ul Alam

Dear Service Provider,

I hate to write this mail as I have always believed that Airtel is a Big brand,
and it does justice to its customers. But one of my recent experience is not as
good as I believed to be.

To cut the long story short - I applied for an Broad band connection on 10th
June 2011, till date i did not get any information regarding the proceedings,
whenever i wanted to reach Mr. Rudra Pratim Majhi, who was a represented he
used to ask me for providing few more days so that they can help me out, but
this was as just as a bigger lie and false promise that i have ever heard.

Till today I ddnt find any feedback about the same, but in the moning I got a
bill from airtel, and I was really amazed that Airtel is sending me bill
without providing any service, "I doubted the clarity and business that Airtel
carries", but when I opened the bill I was a little relieved, then I went to
the Airtel Office, at C21A, Katjunagar, Tollygunge / Jadavpur, Kolkata.

I spoke to the people in the stinky, skanky office- ( I expected Airtel Office
to be on road side, not inside the residential place). They provided me a
number where I can ask for money refund ( number of Sanjoy / Sujay Ghosh) and
they said that is due to the fire that occured in Delhi Office that all the
data and application was lost, But I am sure I ddnt get any news about the same
(I suspect that is a lie, If it is true then provide me the snap shot of the
news paper cutout), and that number provided me this mail id. Another bitter
experience, even I tried to speak to the Coustomer care, but that had some
problem too ( I was using Vodafone connection), I dont know bt I still have
doubts on business ethics and coustomer service, Airtel Broadband is a very new
company i believe but its a shame to the brand.

Anyways.... Please refund my Rs. 500/- that I provided on the time of
application and have some system in place.

jus write -> i'm filing a complaint through my attorney in consumer court and i stand for refund including Interest as per TRAI -> jus make sure that u've nothin on them... n then c the magic...

Tweet them on Airtel_Presence. Sometimes that works. If it does post a tweet praising them, that speeds up any subsequent queries
