@MadAxe yes, should this merit further discussion I will start a new thread. I hope Airtel closes it today. Thanks for the update on your successful plan change but i havent tried it via the app only via the call centre. The request is still pending.

BTW I had recently upgraded my aunt's 40mbps airtel to 1gbps plan temporarily via app for a few days in Pune and she has the Huawei device, they didn't do it ASAP so I contacted them after a couple of days and just told them said the computer and router both support 1g and then they enabled it within the hour...
