So with 4G, Airtel touches the 3G speed of Vodafone?? Well, the upload speed is better than 3G at least...
No use in going for 4G, when they are throttling for 10Mbps, imho.. OH Well, coverage of 4G on 1800MHz will be better than 3G coverage on 2100MHz, is it????

What is the use of 4G network with just 10 mbps download speed. They could provide that on a 3G network itself.
Also 10 mbps is the speed for a newly launched network when very few customers would be using the service. Once large number of customers start using the network... 🙁

They are throttling speeds to 10 mbps. Probably to avoid network congestion.

Vodofone 3 G is far better than Airtel 4 G. .Airtel fooling their customers, Let them Provide proper 3 G then think about 4 G.

If Telecom industry gonna manage 4G like 3G. Then its useless. I don't know why people are crazy about 3G & 4G. The data plans are so expensive that its useless in my opinion. Its like milking consumers for money by rationing data.

Got maximum 6Mbps on Chennai airtel 4G. Pretty useless. But 3G of airtel in chennai is much much worse (1Mbps max) that I have to use 4g there.
In Nagpur it's even more worse. Just 0.8Mbps 4g LTE and that too in open place. Coverage of airtel 4g in Nagpur is almost non existence.
Airtel has wasted lots of money in buying 4g spectrum, imho...

4G is in trial phase. To get a real experience of 4G, you have to wait for 2 more years.
Most of the Telecom players haven't built the required 4G Infrastructure. Telecom companies have already requested to delay complete 4G rollout deadline till 2020.
And many of the telecom companies who acquired 4G license in Auction haven't even started the testing phase. At least Airtel has launched 4G trials. Where is Idea? Where is Reliance? Where is Vodafone? Where are the rest?
You want speed on 4G? Affordable Data plans, reliability & features? Then wait till couple of years at least.
Edit - Within next year, you may see more glitched trials of 4G services by Airtel & other companies. Don't waste your time on it.
