Aircel data plan didn't work with other allied network in roaming

Aircel delhi is good, data plan are also good,but the problem is that in roaming to west UP most of towers are closed there.Idea is the roaming partner in west up.Data plan don't work in roaming with idea.What is the use of this type of roaming...
 
Check your apn. I had the same issue while roaming. Aircel customer service asked me to change the APN from 'aircelnet' to 'aircelgrps'. After this, roaming on Idea/Vodafone etc. started working (this is however billable at 10p/10kb and is not part of whichever data plan you have)
 
aircel is good operator if you dont roam much, if you roam frequently then use airtel, idea, voda or reliance, mtnl/bsnl.
