I got the Jio fibre connection, now I am confused about what should be done with my BSNL connection. Which of the following option would be the best?

1. Plan change ( Currently i am Rs. 1199 plan). Should I get a cheaper plan?

2. Safe custody (Minimum period of 3 months and Rs 50 would be charged every month)

3. Get the connection disconnected.

Which one do you guys suggest?

If BSNL is reliable in your area, maybe you could take a cheaper plan for the time being. You should monitor the performance of Jio till commercial launch. If Jio performs well, then you can disconnect BSNL if you want to. In case it's the other way round, you can keep BSNL and disconnect Jio. It all boils down to whichever is more reliable.

as mentioned sometime before by a user. if you planing to disconnect the connection it is best to first downgrade to a beginner plan and then disconnect. the reason is,in a case where disconnection is not done properly you dont have to pay a huge sum.

Porn is blocked on almost all ISPs. Rest I haven't faced any issues using Jio. Reddit works fine for me. I haven't faced any kind of censorship except for porn block.

Torrents, porn and almost every 'illegal' website is blocked. Plus on torrents you don't get good speeds unless it is very healthy (no peering speeds). Rest the connection is awesome and gives almost same speed to everywhere in world. But yes, bad latency as of now.
