ADSL Statistics

Hey guys,

I need some help with my ADSL Statistics. They have gotten worse and I don't know the reason.

About a year ago, I was on the 2mbps NU plan and at that time, my Attainable Rate for Downstream was 8000+ and Upstream was 3000+.

Now, my downstream is at 3000+ and upstream is at 1000+.

Is this due to low SNR Margin and Attenuation?

Please let me know what the problem is and how can I tell MTNL to fix it.

First of all, which plan do you use???

no your SNR is fine.. for a 2mbps connection your sync rate is good..

there is no need for any intervention on part of MTNL unless u have an unstable ADSL link or varying SNR, resulting in dynamic sync rate reduction and slow speed (if on 2mbps plan).

I'm on the 256K unlimited plan now. But I still expereince lag from time to time. And just last month there was a ADSL sync problem which took a while to get sorted.But if u guys say its all good, then its all good.
