Hello everyone,

New member here.
I heard about this site from a friend so I came to check this out.
I found so many pages and I got confused so I register new account and asking for help here.

I am using BSNL Unlimited 1350 Plus plan with ADSL wifi WA3002-G1.

These are some informations I am sharing:

Errors:

1. Disconnects while browsing the net.
2. ADSL link gets down every few minutes (the green light goes off and back on again & again) and I have to redial.
3. I can not connect my Nokia 95 8GB mobile with the PC (need help in this also plz).

More Info:

Desktop PC using WindowsXP Pro Genuine.
Bridge Mode - Use Network Dialup (All set on auto detect IP).
PC got no viruses/spywares.
All electric cables checked.
All cords tested and working.
Using Splitter, phone not connected.
When Phone line connected, is very clear - no static noises.
I reconnect 7 times when I try to register in this website.

This is happening since the last 10 days or so. I am very pissed off and very tired. The bsnl people say - link is up and very good. They send someone and he checked for 15 minutes - everything was working A-OK that time.

feedback with new snr/attn.
present data satisfactory except for frequent disconnections.

For Nokia you have to connect modem "Always On mode "
Enable DHCP in modem.

Post Ipconfig /all data for ethernet and wireless LAN.

Hello,
Thanks for replying.
Sorry to say: Whatever you just said; all went flying by from top of my head...except few things. I am not a computer pro like you all.
So plz tell me what exactly to do and I will reply back asap.

Connected 6 minutes now and no disconnections so far this morning.

Hello again,

I am posting the ipconfig of my PC. I don't know how to see the other information that you have asked for. So kindly tell me what to do and I will post the log here.

you have a really good SNR !! does the POWER LED blink when the ADSL link goes down? ensure that all telephones connected after splitter

You are on dialer mode.
Shows your modem settings are almost Ok.
Frequent disconnections can be due to the mod mode selected .
ADSl2 plus .
Suggestion 1 :This has to be changed to GDMT.
Then recheck snr/attn etc .
Example page :http://xs841.xs.to/xs841/09313/wa3002g1_deviceinfo898.jpg
Any improvement and stable operation ?

You have posted log files of the modem etc .
Means you could access the modem menu items.
That is why I gave brief instructions.

It usually happens. If i give step by step instruction
the member gets annoyed and snaps back saying
" I am not a school kid !"

If I give brief istructions like @superprash2003,
feedback like you said.! By the way I am also a newbie !

I am trying to find out in which Modem page this
mod mode can be changed to GMT.
( I don't have this modem wa 3002-g1)
Para two:
Also you can change DNS to 208.67.220.220
and 208.67.222.222
in modem and computer.

No,

The LED turns OFF suddenly and then it starts blinking again and turns solid green. Then I can redial and get connected.

----------

Check that the wirnig is done according to the attached image,

The picture is all good. Only that I don't use the BSNL phone, so its not connected with the splitter. Rest of the cords are as shown in the picture.

What is snr/attn etc ? And I am not that good with computers. So you can tell me in details if you can and I will not get annoyed.

Restarted modem and now restarting PC and connecting back. Lets see what happens. In the meanwhile if you think of anything else that can help me, please post it.

Thank you

I did the above settings and back.

Waiting for a reply.

1.
Not advisable.
2.
You have to use the ADSL splitter and
connect a Phone to the Phone PORT
to complete the circuit
(either Phone on cradle or off cradle )
3.
Even with the ADSL splitter in circuit,
the modem RJ11is connected
DIRECTLY to main Phone Junction.

4. Try this and give feedback .

I mean the PHONE is not connected. I use the splitter as shown in the picture above.

I talked with a bsnl man. He told me, must be cause of weather the splitter is gone bad, and he advice me to put the phone line directly to the modem and then use it.

This is the error log of the modem:

What is means : Quick bridge not allow multi-channel
How to fix this?

PC is online 48 min. now and I am disconnected 3 times.
Last night I change the Modulation to DGMT and it was disconnecting me again and again. I change it back to ADSL2 PLUS. And I also remove those DNS IP addresses from modem and PC. Now atleast I stay connected more than 3-5 minutes. When I did the above changes, it disconnects me every 30-40 seconds.

Any suggestions please?

3. ALL DONE. Now auto connecting - no need to dial.
Could not set wireless security as WEP-64 Bits - Says key is wrong.
So I set it for WPA2-PSK with a password and it saved it. And I restarted modem 2 times.
