Adguard VPN experiences

I have been using this for about a month or so now. Bought during the Black Friday sale since it was cheap. Overall experience has been good, it connects quite fast and speeds and pings are also good. However they use their own VPN protocol and not Open VPN/Wireguard etc so hard to know how safe it is.
