Activating MTNL Delhi 3G?

After getting the MTNL SIM and activating it, how do I activate the 3G data connection? Also, how do I check if I have any free data with the new connection? *444# only gives balance and validity. Also tried 112 and 234 but nothing. Sending enqfree to 444 gives Invalid Request.
Any ideas?

i just got one my self and before even activation i was able to use inter with 3 mbps speed truly ammazing but i have no idea about how much data i can use since i did not buy any plan and its on a postpaid connection .. 🙂
 
if you have data pack active then ull receive sms with data in byte plus validity of the pack, if pack not active then you wont get an sms. also 3g is preactivated just use apn mtnl.net
