Activating GPRS plans on postpaid BSNL

I've been for trying to activate some GPRS plans in my BSNL postpaid for years now.. but I haven't been successful. In prepaid its so easy!Please tell me.. There are plans like 199, 249 allright.. but how do I activate it on my postpaid phone?Without a plan, it costs me nearly Rs. 4 an mb. HELP!!!
