did anyone notice that speedtest.net results with act broadband always shows good(higher / as promised) results.
but if you try the same with some other website, you get lower speed.
is there any under-table deal between act and speedtest.net website?

in bsnl adsl modem, we also check the line strength via modem page (snr margin values).
Technically, is there anything like this to verify the link/line strengh of act (fibre broadband)?

As there is no modem required in ACT u need not worry about SNR values. A cat5 cable will be good enoug for 100 meters without any problem unless there is a cut.
Their connectivity to sppedtest.net server is good, so u get the best results. If u have doubt download from a microsoft site n see 😛layful:

thank you. yes, speed is good with downloads. but initially the site takes time to load, later it becomes normal.

Speed test is giving exactly what I am getting in downloads. Speedtest.net shows 45mbps, and when Im downloading files on the internet, songs or videos, Im getting 4.5MB-5MB/second speed anyway. But some other speed testing sites show 20mbps or even 5mbps actually. I'll rather trust Speedtest.net because that is close to the file download speed im getting.
