Is the GX box installed in your home? I constantly get speeds in the range of 930-950 Mbps, though only on my high end laptop.

On Airtel Gigabit on Apple servers I can only get around 50ish MBps while downloading one file through IDM. With 2 files I can get 80-90 MBps. With YT with one file I can get 110-115 MBps. The max I’ve seen on Steam is like 70+ MBps or so.

For gigabit connections they put in a seperate gx box for your use.
You'll get ethernet cable to your home and you can use any router you want.

GX Box is dedicated ont for your connection.
Generally, act keeps common ont and hands out 8 connections from it.
This setup might cause slowdowns during peak hours. So act provides this GX Box for gigabit connection and also for people who pays for it on request.
