ACT Fibernet blocks sites using deep packet inspection

Hello BBforum Experts,

While i was trying to bypass the blocked websites with ACT Fibernet ISP using different techniques.
DNS crypting was not solving this issue.
Forcing other DNS servers at router level, ACT would just drop the connection.
I had to use a VPN for gaining back the access to these blocked websites.

There must be some way where-in we can encrypt our connection at the router level.
I am planning for a customized TOR router, but the main issue would be major slow down on connection speed.
Would anyone here recommend something that would work properly or may be a link to any guide would be very helpful.

I have found an excellent article posted by Mr. Shantanu on how ACT Fibernet block websites

Note: I am nowhere related to Mr. Shantanu, posting it here so we can get more inputs from our experts.

He says Streamable is blocked but accessible through https. Just use something like HTTPS Everywhere then right?

What other sites have you found that have been blocked?

DoT refuses to provide official list of sites blocked by the government and court. Hard to argue without that. There is also no regulation stopping ISPs from having their own block list.

Using HTTPS Everywhere is recommended for basic web browsing. I don't know why anyone would not use it.

I can access all those sites with it simply installed, nothing else required on my part.

HTTPS everywhere does not work if site does not support HTTPS!

most file sharing sites do. on unrelated note, when did flipkart switched to https completely? i am pretty sure https only entered when you started the ordering process (or login page). now the entire site seems to have the expensive certificate which shows flipkart branding in the title bar. even Amazon is not full https.

onlinesbi can't be opened in act fibernet same laptop using another internet like jio or ccn networks site is opening plz sort out problem this is a legal website

@alla raja This is to do with IPv6 I think. Even ICICI Netbanking doesn't work if IPv6 is enabled. I noticed the same issue happening when using Airtel IPv6.

Try disabling IPv6 and then access the site, and see if it works.
