ACT BB connectivity issues? (2/4/2014)

I've been noticing that few pages like apple.com etc.. do not load from Friday... Is everyone in Bangalore having similar issue?
logged couple of tickets with act, and they call me up saying it was a server issue and it was resolved, but the problem started today again.. Right now I'm able to open google and facebook only, other pages refuse to load up....

logging out and logging in does not seem to have helped..
Tried connecting RJ45 directly to a PC, the portal.acttv.in does not load up..

What is going on with ACT????

Looks like DNS issue? Try changing the DNS to google or some other open DNS and see if it helps.
 
already on Google's DNS.. 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4. Tried open DNS, still no luck..strangely few site open up without any problems..
I'm suspecting some thing to do with the gateway i'm assigned to this week x_x.
 
ACT rep came to my place to take a look at the fiber modem device... called up the backed and asked to change vlan and now it seems to be working.. i just hope this never happens again...
 
Gha!! here we go again.... cant open notepad++ homepage and bing.. not sure what other pages do not load. 🙁 why me?
