HI i have a linux and a Winxp box... Now I have connected my Ubuntu laptop via my wireless router to the internet. It works fine. But now my windows connection is unable to dial and connect to the internet... It just tries to connect and then dies...PS: I followed the instructions from:
Broadband Howto - Ubuntu India
to set up a wireless connection...
How can i connect my ubuntu laptop wirelessly and Winxp desktop(thru ethernet) at the same time and access internet.... ?

you need to set your modem into ppoe mode so then you wouldnt need to dial anymore and internet would work together on both pcs.. which modem do you use?

Hi i am using the ADSL2+ modem/router provided by BSNl manufactured by UT starcom. No WA3002G4... Actually i did set it up in pppoe in the WAN settings but thru this i got only my ubuntu box to work.... how do i connect windows to an already connected pppoe connection? Could you tell me the steps...

it should work actually.. in your command prompt type ipconfig and post screenshot here.It could be because you arent getting a ip!
