well. people are generally stupid. this is nothing new. earlier they got scammed by people pretending to be bank employees asking for some kind of random verification or something like that. you just need to find out a new scam that would food enough people to make the effort worthwhile. with government running massive marketing around aadhaar pushing people to link it with their accounts and banks making it hard for them to do so while sitting at home... getting a phone call from the bank sounds like a comfortable option to get it done!!!

At times i think....why people wasting time doing regular stuff...... There a tons of people out thr waiting for someone to scam them....just bcoz they feel....bank is giving them a king like experience ......by doing doing everything overphone....
People should try new new innovative ideas to get free flowing money.....(pun intended)......(with all possiable disclaimers and warnings)
