A Confusion With My First 900 Plus Bill

puja i want to know what was your exact first bill of 900plus dataone connection.i only want to know the total amount as i have also taken 900 plus plan.
Registration ch (adj) (-)1000/-
net (for bband) 2150/- + service tax[/b]
what does these tarrifs mean these tarrifs are not mentioned on bsnl website
according to me the instalation charges are
rs500-new telephone
rs250-modem from bsnl
rs100-modem rental
rs500-modem security deposit
rs900-monthly rental
rs900-advance rental security deposit
so total amount is rs3150 of which rs500 is taken during depositing of application form so my first bill's amount should be rs3150-rs500=rs2650 but according to you it should be
Installation ch. 500/-
Modem rental 100/-
modem installation charge 250/-
modem security deposit 500/-
phone rental 900/-
b'band Security deposit 900/-
Registration ch (adj) (-)1000/-
net (for bband) 2150/- + service tax
[Call charges extra][/b]
which totals to rs6300 how this could be possible ?can anyone else solve my confusion about my first bill pleaseeeeeeeeeee?

As I understand it , BSNL had taken Rs 1000/- adjustable
registration charges from Puja . It was to be adjusted in the
first bill . Total bill was for Rs 3150 /- . So Puja had to pay
Rs 2150 /- + service tax + Ed cess for the broadband thru
first bill .

Lets wait for Puja's clarification .

every thing seems correct...... how much wer u expecting?? i got a bill around 4000 for 900plus plan .... but i didnt opt for a new telephone connection and bought the modem rather than renting it

^ @avinds , around Rs 4000/- for the broadband alone ! no new phone connection ; no phone rental ;no modem deposit ; no modem rental ; then why you had to pay such a huge amount ...

Seshu's calculation is correct 100%. Moreover I didn't include the bill for my voice calls which is @Re.1 per call, so I said "for b'band" within the bracket.

But how BSNL chrages Rs.1800/- as modem charges ?? Did u opt for outright purchase?? If u did so, then u r clever, I should have done it too rather than taking modem on rent. Can I do it now?? What is the procedure??

^ @Puja , even now you can purchase the modem from BSNL .Just give a application to the CO at your Exchange . It can be done . you can also opt for any other modems available at yourExchange .

yes...i opted for outright purchase.....

you can still purchace the modem.....as for the details/procedure ......seshu is the guy

Hi Guyz,Does any one know if we change from plan 500 to 900UL what will be change in tarrif. Will it be just 900/- pm that means Rs.400 more to be paid per month ? or more charges are there ???pranKster.

It is monthly Rs 900/- + Modem rent + Phone rental
+ calls charges + Service Tax + Ed cess as usual .

there can be a extra charge of Rs 900/- deposit
or advance monthly rental with the first bill of unlimited

Thanks Seshu, Since I am already haing 500 Plan, I guess I dont have to pay towards Modem rent as I am already doing that with this plan. As for the Call charges are concerned, I hope not much change should be there as compared with current setup.Thanks.
