Have they closed this way of recharging?

Still there for me. It only shows up if you have balance greater than the recharge amount.

Yes. Still working. I was bloody ₹2 short and that’s why it wasn’t showing up as recharge option. Recharged with 1299 plan + 100GB + 50GB + 5 GB vouchers all expiring with base plan on 27th Jan 2021. Ddrrrream Scenario.

so effectively you got additional 100+10+10+10GB data with the GST paid(Rs286[1585-1299]).....

Actually you can get 155 GB additional data along with 24 GB of plan. Total 179 GB data.
Top ups of ₹1000 + 500 + 50

That comes to around Rs 140 per month with 16 GB data per month. Until couple of days it was only 129 per month 😢 I just need the lowest priced plan, I use Jio as my backup internet connection. If you recharge via PayZapp, you can get a further 150 off. 😉

My primary number is on Jio Postpaid at 199 + GST

Maybe already done by many people but instead of recharging of monthly plans directly from account/wallet, why not just buy Top up vouchers and then buy the plan using talktime

For eg- i want to do rs 399 recharge (1.5 GB/day 56 days) instead of recharging for 399 directly i can buy 5 x rs 100(or rs 500) top ups which will give me rs 400/420 talktime and 5 x 10(or 50) GB data voucher/s for just 100 extra, use the remaining balance to recharge the plan

But remember that no discount coupon can be applied using this method.
My plan is expiring in another 2 days, does this 5X100 topup work on Jiofi devices?
