Is 'Hindu' a name of a newspaper first or a name of a religion first?

When you Google for the word Hindu or hindu, you get links for a newspaper named 'Hindu'. My friend said that those newspaper people have a secret deal with google even though I said that most people backlink to the newspaper page and hence appears first!nice to know
 
heh. hindu with their two sites do dominate search engine rankings on google. no google has no logical reason to go into a secret deal with hindu to rank them first for the term HINDU. its just that they are positioned at the top by google spiders.
 
Of course I agree with Sushubh... Imagine Hindu doesn't even advertise Google in its papers only if it comes to oppurtunities. What would google get by advertising hindu as the top listing? Well.. makes no sense.. But hey if u ask me I'd like the religion listing come up first all others second.. Their domain name is so unique.... 😉
