Kindle eBooks can now be purchased via Indian Cards and Netbanking

Great News. 😀

Kindle eBooks can be purchased via Indian Credit/Debit cards and Netbanking. Also Amazon.in Giftcards can be used for the eBook purchases.

You will have to migrate though. Its a one time change. You can revert back to Amazon.com for Kindle purchases by changing the country again.

Indian credit cards was always there. I have used my Indian card on amazon.com and amazon.de a lot

Only thing was we had to go to. Com to buy books, and now no need

Amazon India Kindle Store has announced support for local credit and debit cards, net banking to purchase eBooks.

You can now use any Indian Debit card or Net Banking to purchase eBooks.

It is working, but there is limit on the value. You cannot purchase ebooks that costs more than 3000 I think. Tried with SBI debit card.

Yes. Its working confirmed. I tried with SBI net banking as well as debit card. .
