Smartex MT 882 modem

Hi,I have been using the DATAONE Broadband for more than one year now and that too without much hassel excet for this one that permanently plagues my net connection. I am using Dataone Broadband through Smartex MT882 modem and the power supply of the same is supported by both the UPS which in turn is connected to the Inverter for the power backup during power failure.But every time there is power failure my broadband connection is disconnected and gets reconnected after some time by auto redialing again.If some one can help me out of this constant problem I shall be very greatfull to him.Prashant

well you would need something that provides constant power. and UPS tends to fail at that resulting in hung modems.
