Downstream fixed to 1856 kbps in my Modem

Hi frnds..Plz anyone there who can solve my problem..I never get speed more than 150-160 KB/Sec in torrent application.And while using DAP my speed doesn't exceed 175 KB/Sec.Later I found that my modem has some values fixed thats the reason i dnt get speed exceeding 200 KB/Sec.Modem Status :Connection Status : Connected Us Rate (Kbps) : 509 Ds Rate (Kbps) : 1856

frankly, what will do with 200 KB/s, when u're gettin 175 KB/s already...???in my opinion, nothin can be done, as the speed are UPTO 2 MBPS, n u're gettin well above 80% of promised...

change the modulation type to G.dmt...... if that is possible.dunno abt BSNL but my MTNL downstream changed from 2013kbps to 2048kbps

thnks it worked for me 2...
downstream is now 2048 kbps n upstream 512 kbps.
thnks dude..

Now getting downstream upto 220 kb/sec in DAP.
And in utorrent getting total speed of 225 kb/sec.
