Has anyone tried it? I know it has less features. But if it's stable with very little bugs, I will give a try...

I went through the link with bug report and didn't bother trying it. Need a fully stable edition without any known issues

An update on CM12 and OxygenOS - 06/09 - OnePlus Forums

Android 5.1 based OxygenOS will debut alongside OnePlus two.

So you'll have to wait longer for the 5.1 based Oxygen on the OnePlus One 🙁

I personally preferred the CM12 over Oxygen version 1. Simply because of the OTA and the familiar features that I'm already used to. So a quicker CM12s will still keep me happy

Although I still very strongly fell that Cyanogen are jerks, for what they did to Oneplus
