Bsnl's customer care service is the worst ,,,!!!

This is what i got to say as i have been experincing... it.. there are many instance that i can explain.. few which i recently went thru are given here...

I applied my BSnl broad band connection on jan 29th... my plan which i appllied was HOME 500... n i wanted modem for rental ..
so i paid 500 security deposit + 283 rupee charge for modem... =783 rupee..

they said the connection may take some time and i got to wait for atleast a week..
but i got the connecttion on 14th feb..... the mistake i did was .. i said i need only connection for 3 months and so i got late connectionn...
i used to call every day for connection and finally i got.... and the guys who came to our home were so dumb that they couldn install the drivers for my Mother B... :lol:


I Recently got the bill... for the month of feb.... the billed amount is 375 as Broadband rental(actually it has to be 500 but its calculated for 21days)
plus 46 ruppes as taxes on the billed amt plus 63 rupee for modem rental so total = 484 rupees

cheating... :( ... Actually they gave connection on 14th and they have billed from 7th feb.,............... i tried calling and contacting bsnl guys... atlast i called GM he gave some number and told to talk to the account manager and he said that they put the bill according the info given by Broadband engineers and till now its not at clarified and i dont know what to do and whom to contact.. a few numbers given by GM doesnt work or no one picks...............

And here is the problem which i am experiencing since 4 days...
since 4 days... internet is not getting connected in free hours... the adsl link/act light will be simply blinking it wont settle down....
and it connects fine in normal hours... these f'****** bsnl guys are not responding to phone calls...
every day i used to donwload 3 gb atleast... but since 4 days only 40 mb... my system is aboslutely fine... i got updated antivirus,spyware, and even my win xp is updated with latest..
n being cs graduate i am sure my system has no problems.,,,
but disconnections...
i am very impatient about this.... no one responds whn i call them... i did directly meet them they say i may have a sw problem...

Ahh... really Pi****d of from these BSNL GUYS..... I dont know what to do... and one more problem i got .. i mean i wanted to ask u guys.....

Bsnl connection is minimum for 3 months... the problem is my graduation will be completed with in this month.. and i wont be in need in connection after this month ...(i am staying away from my native) so april will be the 3rd month... and can i discontinue my connection ???
is it possible ??? plz guys reply and give me some solution.. i know this is the only source i can get solution from....

so i came up with a conclusion that bsnl just sucks./...... i think private companies are far better in these regards...
