@essbebe

thnx a lot. yeh, u r correct. At 1st post i saw someone saying to have posted diagram for multi use of bsnl broadband. But i found no diagram.

I have applied for bsnl broadband unlimited plan. i have 1 pc & 1 laptop.

My question is, if i buy type 3 modem ( with 2 or 4 ethernet ports) from bsnl or from outside .. then will i be able to connect both pc & laptop to internet at the same time..?

i hope if i get type 3 modem.. then i shldnt require any kind of extra switch to connect both..??

No switch/hub required.
Nowadays , BSNl is issuing new modems . Take on RENT any Wireless modem from BSNL. See my Post No. 54.What is your Budget ? According to that , you get Type II or Type IV on rent , from BSNL, and buy a seperate WIFI router if needed.

They are all old models and require a card to be inserted in the modem. ASk bsnl. Seems practically not available any where. See again my post . Please read other threads in your free time. ( at least the first page threads of interest to you!)
Any problem in setting up, internet connection etc. , users of this forum will gladly help you out.
