I want to know about the 2 mbps packages In home 1000 plan they calim speeds of 384Kbps upto 2Mbps Anyone who uses these connections (upto 2 Mbps) please tell me whether the speed really goes beyond the minimum limit (Ex- above 256 Kbps in a 256Kbps upto 2 Mbps connection)That will i ever get more than 384 Kbps in Home 1000 Package (384 upto 2 mbps)

Yeah, in my plan, I get mostly 1 - 1.3 Mbps speed. But nowadays, the browsing speed is very slow, even though I tried both OpenDNS and the DNS server of BSNL.

I got my Home 500 yesterday and the max speed i got till now is 256Kbps :(The guy who came for installation used his test connection with which i got 512 +. I just hope that Bsnl wont disappoint me with speeds in coming days. :unsure:
