Hi Everyone,Recently I applied for BSNL landline with DataOne but got a Tarang connection as there was no direct line in my area. I want to know details regarding accessing internet through this CDMA telephone (Huawai T1 ETS 2288). How much is the acutal speed, access charges, security deposits, connection cord etc. Any information provided will be highly apprecited. Thanks.
When I tried to connect my BSNL Huawei ETS2288 CDMA phone through a USB to serial cable then it is shown as unknown device. Whenever I run the WLL Modem driver then it asks for install TIUMP USB serial port driver. Please help !!
BSNL Staff is clueless about the unlimited option. My analysis says that it does not include the dial up access charges because1. It will become unaffordable for people in rural areas.2. The service is not a regular dial-up but access code based.I managed to get the cable from BSNL (and how?). The cable is in short supply and these people didn't even have the driver. So this service can be availed by some lucky people. Regarding it's speed, it better than dialup (100kbps+), more reliable & quick. Good option in wireless only if you manage to get the cable
Did you get any clarification on the Internet charges? (by now you must have received a few bills) Is it similar to MTNL's Garuda WLL FWP Unltd. Internet @ Rs299/- plan? (Max. Rs299/- + Taxes for unlimited internet only, call/sms charges extra)I frequently require internet access in a rural area with no broadband and I wouldnt mind going for it if it really works at 100kbps and unlimited internet.
