Hey, GOt a call from the CC, they were offering to upgrade my existing HD Set Top Box with the HD DVR 1000 GB for some 4.5k instead of the 7k listed price. So wanted to know if it is at all worth it ?
1. Does it record in 5.1 DD ?
2. Does the recording work in AUTO mode as well ?
3. How is the interface compared to the normal HD SB ?
4. The CC said that some extra cabling (one more run of cable) neds to come to the set top box ? Is that the case ? How is it done in flats where they wont have clear access to the SB at all. .
