Forced software upgrade

Hi, my Zenega HD D-6000 STB sometimes takes 60 seconds to respond to a remote button press. I have changed remotes. I think it is a firmware issue and tried the Forced Firmware Upgrade.
But this fails and it asks me to do some transponder setup. Anyone had any luck with solving this delayed STB response issue?
 
Ok I sorted it out finally after suffering like an idiot for 6+ months. I reset to factory settings and also erased the EPG. There was one more erase setting related to memory of some kind. Sounded scary so didn't mess with it. First impressions are this solved the problem for me. Will use it couple of days and update again.
 
Just to close the loop on this. The sluggishness of the STB and slow boot time was resolved by doing the factory reset. Others with the same problem should give it a shot.
