Monkey Man turns saffron to red as India release uncertain
Hollywood film Monkey Man, a revenge action drama starring the British actor Dev Patel, has been edited to change saffron political banners to red. The film is also directed by Mr. Patel, who launched his career with the 2009 film Slumdog Millionaire.
The movie might skip India. Universal gave April 19 as date for India in older posters but their newer posters here have removed any mention of it. And people who saw the movie abroad have claimed that even though the flag color is red now they still look like BJP/RSS flags.
