Dear All
I would like to deactivate prepaid sim number, ( as I have more then 9 numbers in my name), so what's the procedure for the same??
IF any one can help, please
Thnx in advance

Best and safe way to de-activate prepaid SIM is to NOT to use it for 12 months. Do not recharge either.

I would avoid going to vodafone and asking them to deactivate. Because in case you surrender SIM to them but they dont deactivate, it may go in wrong hands under your name!

thnx.

I have all the company's sim card, not only vodafone.
SO I DONOT have to use sim card in a raw for minimum 12 months of 3 months( 90 day rule) ???

12 month is my safety factor! I think actual rule is, if u dont make or receive a call for 30-40days then ur SIM gets deactivated.

But earlier here in this forum people reported that their SIM worked even after 6 months of inactivity.

That is why I said 12 months!

Right. If you go to the store, they'll say don't use it for 6 months, it'll automatically get deactivated.

But, a few special ops like rcom and mtnl never deactivate sims.

if it is prepaid cut in 4 pieces and throw it in 4 different dustbins.

Yes but cut it only after deactivation!! 😀 Otherwise store is in safe unreachable place!
