Reliance Broadband 1250 Thunder Plan in Gurgaon (4mbps unlimited)

Just applied for it. Paid Rs. 2050 including installation and first month rental. Guy claimed that the internet would not require manual login as long as someone is using it. But it would disconnect when someone stops using it. This sounds more absurd than login once in 24 hours. :\

just keep the ping running in a window.
 
I have TweetDeck running pretty much all the time when my computer is on so that is not an issue 🙂 But Chaitanya was very clear that you have to login once every 24 hours.
 
Had a talk with him. He says that 1099 plan is available in Metro Ethernet areas. 😕
 
So is he giving u on ADSL? I feel this 1249 plan is 1 mbps plan with static IP. If no login then has to be static IP.
Do check with him again.
 
I have an ADSL connection and I'm using Thunder 1099 4 Mbps.

There's this one plan : Thunder 999 which requires Metro Ethernet connection. Do check with him to get the exact plan details.
