well my isp is mtnl..i m usin mtnl triband..and was wonderin wat exactly this is..[/b]
yes its ur isp LAN.no doubt.
what is ur setup like ? r u using Wi-fi?That is a LAN in the Pic...its in the same subnet therefore most probably all comps are connected to same router/DHCP server which has assigned the IP address in the same range..Its got nothing to do with the ISP
actually these mtnl ppl had come for solvin the problem of the continuous disconnection of the mtnl since the 2mbs and seems like they hve created tunnel or sumthin cann't make out..it shows a tunnel in ipconfig for cmd..and also my router at times is shown in network placesalso there is jst one wire goin frm my adsl router to the PC..its really funny..wats happening..mtnl says there cann't be ne LAN..but still i get ppl on a scan
u need to get rid of LAN.. it is possible that there are ppl using
your router or ur comp for surfing and u will end up paying for
them. secure ur comp/laptop/router.
just a note (applies to bridged mode or for router):
there is nothing like LAN in MTNL ADSL. mask is always 255.255.255.255
which means its just single comp network.(i.e. ur own comp).
if ur ip is 59.1.2.3 and u r accessing 59.1.2.4 u will still end up paying
for data.
